Opinion: Why Would Biden Pick A Human Lightning Rod As VP?

FEATURED, NEWS
By Dana Milbank Last October, former Obama national security adviser Susan Rice, now being mentioned as a possible running mate for Joe Biden, was on the popular podcast “Pod Save America,” when another former Obama administration official, Tommy Vietor, shared his belief that high-ranking Republican Sen. Lindsey O. Graham of South Carolina is a long-standing specimen of excrement. “He’s been a piece of s---,” Rice concurred. “I said it. I said it, finally, dammit. He’s a piece of s---.” She smiled at the camera. Ladies and gentlemen, the vice president of the United States? The midfielder was an important part of the Arsenal first team early in the season but hasn't played since his altercation with Neal Maupay at the end of the loss against Brighton back in June. He wasn't even in the squad for the win against Chelsea at Wembley in the final on Saturday and he's finally broken his silence, after not appearing in the post match celebrations. Posting on Instagram he put up a picture on his story from his holiday, and it looks pretty good in fairness. Despite the falling out with the manager, that has seen him miss out on the game and several matches prior, Mikel Art...

Physics Behind David Beckham’s ‘Craziest Ever Pass’ To Ronaldo Are Baffling

FEATURED, NEWS
By Our Reporter David Beckham curled in some impossible, defender-humiliating crosses - but this assist for Ronaldo Nazario might be his best ever. Absolutely nothing looked on as Real Madrid's No 23 took the ball on the right. Until Becks took a quick look up, then whipped in a bending, pinpoint pass that landed perfectly for Ronaldo. Half the Real Zaragoza team were between him and his target - but it didn't matter. Becks' laser-guided accuracy somehow cut them all out.  All Ronaldo had to do was jog between his two markers and stab the ball home. It's an astonishing pass. Ronaldo paid tribute to Beckham's unreal passing on a star-studded Instagram Live recently, telling the man himself: "You were one of the best of all time in the centre, the way you touch the b...
